[Game] Kings vs. Heat, 1/30/21, 5pm PST, 8pm EST

I've been vaccinated at the hospital of my work. Things I know:
* They had more vaccines at one point than they were capable of safely injecting in a day. This may have changed now that the workforce is widely vaccinated, but there's still space, airflow, post injection monitoring to consider.

* A very few high profile Black MDs I know had vaccine hesitancy, although at least one took it. Their reasons were legitimate - one of them is that there is a long history of marginalized groups being used as human guinea pigs. Psychologically speaking there is a lot to having "elites skip the line" in getting hesitant people to accept the vaccine.

My proposal was that the teams use their resources to facilitate safe injection locations in exchange for about 15-20 early vaccines. If they were able to safely vaccinate a thousand+ people a day by using arenas or other team facilities when there are not games being played there most people are going to see this as a win. Most pro sports arenas and stadiums are easy to get to, have tons of parking, multiple entry and exit points, 20k capacities, etc. They are ideal locations for these type of operations mid-winter rather than sending people out to fields or other barren landscapes.

Is it not possible to keep them in the game AND cost them the game?

That’s the learning curve right there.

It was fun as hell watching Fox bring us back in it, but then he started forcing things a bit when he could have been trying to use the defensive attention to get open looks for his teammates.

I’m sure he’s been watching tape. You could see how upset he was at the loss after the final buzzer.
