You managed to get Hurley, Walt and Lionel in there... I'm not sure I say Tisdale in there somewhere, hmm, I'll have to watch again.

(I paused the video half-way through watching it to post this)

This video is fabulous. Who made this? You Baja? (nevermind - just got to the end and my question was answered) I am eternally grateful. I felt like I was reliving some moments I completely forgot. The clip of Arco just BUMPING....wow. I forgot how that felt. It feels like it has been a lifetime. Being at Arco during our glory years was...well...an EXPERIENCE. It was something you could feel. The passion was palpable. I have never been in an atmosphere like that. Ever.

Me either. I remember it got so loud that all of a sudden everything went muffled sounding and the noise was a physical wave beating against me. I stopped for a few moments just to feel it and take it in. I was just stunned by the feeling. Probably permanently deafer, too. :)

I think the video is the work of somebody at the "Here We Stay" group?

Kfipp over at Sactown Royalty (unless baja is Kfipp and I never knew)
That was GREAT!!! Brought back LOTS of memories from the early years that I remember quite vividly!:) Here is probably the one Kings tribute video that STILL gets my emotions going...brings a tear to my eye as a Sacramentan...remembering this INCREDIBLE time in our city's history:

Gets me every time...seeing C-Webb miss that shot against Minnesota...and Doug crying afterwards...tough memories...but still great memories...

While I would love to take credit for it, no, I didn't make it. I found it on another site, and thought it needed to be shared.

Me too. Altho, I think this is the first time I've been able to watch it without sobbing. ;) That and Ting's Valde tribute are real tear-jerkers for me.

I think the "Here We Stay" video is wonderful, too.

My gosh. I'm crying like a baby here. I'm almost as attached to Sacramento as I am the Kings. So many memories :(

I wish the Kings would stay. The fans deserve so much to see another competitive team. The one of past years will never come again, but we have an excellent young team coming through. We deserve that excitement again. As much as I'll always love the Kings, if they move I just don't know if it will be with the same vigour. I love Sacramento. We've gone through so much together. Seeing another city win a championship with this team would be beyond difficult.

Please, Maloofs, give us another chance to get an arena done. You won't regret it! Just imagine winning a 'chip here... Madness like never before!

On Feb 28, Westphal said he stopped and looked at the crowd to take it in. The same words.

Does everyone understand why Vlade tipped Jon Barry's head back?

Truly moving... I also had to pause the video so I could stop the tears. BTW, I think I saw a couple of my photos being used there, but I definitely don't mind. It's all for the cause.

Think I'm going to show that to the kids in my class and see what kind of reaction we get from the younger set.

Thanks soooo much for sharing.

I think what was so poignant about that C-Webb missed shot against MIN, was that it really signified that the window had closed. I sat there after that game knowing deep down that the run for that particular team was over. Was a truly sad feeling. Knowing that we had 3 years in a row in which we should have at least come away with 1 championship and yet had nothing to show for it.

Yup, as webb's 3 clanked off the back iron, my heart kinda sunk. It was the point I realized that that shot epitomized the franchise for those few years(just short) and I also knew any run we had at a championship was really over.
