[Game] Game 63:Kings @ Hornets,3/11/15 - 4:00 pdt, 7:00 edt

Choices fraught with errors because of ignorance or misguided beliefs. TANK to me is such a negative, nasty word - it means your team isn't even trying, that they're going out there to lose.
That's because you've made up your own definition and imposed it on others. I'v never seen your definition anywhere.

Here's a little help:

Tanking," as we are to understand it, is a team's intent to do less than everything it can to win. It is a concerted effort over several months (and perhaps several seasons) by a team to deliberately not be as good as it could be. It is considered cheap, disingenuous and dishonest, the byproduct of a flawed system where a team can be rewarded for being bad and where deliberately losing is thereby a strategic decision.

Tanking really is anything other than winning being the absolute priority and ownership and the FO doing everything possible to have success at the present time. There's varying degrees of tanking too. Pretending it requires players and coaches to intentionally try to lose is both incorrect and a false premise. Players and coaches don't go out there trying to lose, that's asinine. Their careers are on the line. But a FO can make winning much tougher on them with longer term(draft) goals in mind, which is tanking.

...sigh... Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is the one player I was really hoping would fall to us in 2012.

I would much rather have Marvin Williams on this team than Jason Thompson. Everyone here hated that idea. Lol.

Request to whoever is grading Ben tonight! (don't have to, just would be fun to see with the ben thread) I would do it and will the next time I get to watch the full game.

How many assist opportunities he has tonight and are blown.

How many times he actually gets to instigate a play.

So many players i don't want to see on this team when Training camp 2015 rolls around. Derrick Williams, you are one of them

Sad to say but Cousins has turned into a perimeter oriented center under Karl so far....there will be ZERO and I mean ZERO success with him doing that long term. I hope Karl isn't stubborn and gets him in the post because it doesn't seem like he is going to do that this year.

Karl has talked about Pop before, did so after being hired and pointed to their ball and player movement. What I'd hope he realizes is during much of Duncan's career, he was the clear #1 focal point for their system and they slowed it down and played through him possession after possession. The off the ball movement/misdirection was run off Duncan being a focal point in the post.

And so far we're not seeing Cuz being used that way for the most part and it's much more perimeter oriented, a worrying trend. If Karl wants to take advantage of Cuz's passing ability, it's got to come through his back to the basket game where it's much easier to draw doubles and space the floor.

Now we're seeing more of the "live by the jumper, die by the jumper" rule of thumb. Looks good when they fall, you lose when they don't.

yep im starting to get concerned.

he needs to be catching the ball in the post almost every play. See Al Jefferson on offense.....

Casspi is trash, honestly there's a good reason he's bounced around, or a bad one for that matter. Garbage player.

Yeah, I think part of Ben's struggles of late have been coach asking him to do too much, and we're seeing that with Omri as well. These two don't have the arsenal to attack as frequently as they've been and help us more in lower usage roles.

Funny enough, DWill is having some success with increased aggressiveness and I worry about what that means comes July 1st.

It ends in D-Will getting a max extension.

Monday night, we had fifty-four at the half, and were getting tore out the frame. This fifty-one seems slightly better.
