[Game] Game -6: Sacramento Kings vs. Toronto Raptors, 10/7/14 7PM pst 10PM est

Casspi fits the motion offense. I'm still not sold on Gay fitting. His play in the first half was the same iso-Gay we saw last year.

I sure hope they don't rush to get him signed, just in wishful thinking. Lets wait a while and see how things play out. We need guys with consistent motors

If it's not DeRozan scoring then it's Lowry. We are going to have a hard time guarding back courts once again this year so it seems.

I wouldn't be too worried. This is one of the best back courts in the league. 2 All-Stars that are just on fire tonight.

But i would rather see Collison in there guarding Lowry

To be fair, we aren't going to see five backcourts as good as DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry all year. When we get ate up by George Hill and Rodney Stuckey, then I'll be worried.

Still, though: DeRozan/Lowry, Curry/Thompson, Wall/Beal, Dragic/Bledsoe... What the hell is Dion Waiters on?

Lowry and DeRozan are good, but perimeter defense could be a real issue for the Kings this season. None of the Kings top 4 guards are good defenders. Some of them are average at best. They just don't have a real answer once an opposing guard gets going.

McCallum was the Kings best perimeter defender last season. I'd like to see him on Lowry here.

Yep and not having a shot blocker just makes this problem worse.

I defense of our guards though Lowry and derozan are really all this team has. I mean if they aren't putting up 30 pts each they don't score 80 pts

Ramon Sessions is the first guard I can remember since Dough Christie who can make those laser beam over head bullet passes on our team.

2nd game in a row that our starters have looked solid against a top Eastern Conference playoff team. Even with 2 All-Star guards going crazy on us tonight we have still maintained the lead. I;m liking what i see

Even though we're going small, each of our three guards out there is taller (or the same height) as his equivalent in Smart's lineup (Collison v IT, Sessions v. MT, BMac v Reke)
