"Want" is way too strong a word: my sister had some, and she offered me some. And I hadn't had pomegranate since I was in my early twenties and I'd forgotten why I didn't eat them.

I remember now.

perhaps they are not in season down in Georgia at this time? you can always try the POM cups they sell without going through the de-seeding procedure

That's exactly what she gave me. And they still had the seeds in 'em.

that tells me that fresh pomegranates are not in season then, try again when their peak season is and you'll be surprised how much better it is than those cups

Nah, I'm good. I can get oranges and pineapple any time, and I like them way more.
