Besides which, according to the Sprouts website, it costs $7.49 for a one-pound bag. I'm not paying seven-fifty for a pound of rice, that's preposterous.

I pressure cook my pho for 1 hour and then natural release. Does as good of a job or better than a long simmer in my experience.

Yeh I buy bulk bones at the Asian market and then used bottom round for the raw beef slices

you ever consider throwing all that in a slow cooker and just letting it do its work on low temp?
