Suggestion: How about a moratorium on the childish nickname nonsense while team is well over .500 and currently a top 4 seed in the West?

Is that too much to ask?

It was never appropriate or funny, but especially not with what is occurring this season.

It’d be really nice if a moderator placed a word filter on it. It’s well past tired and lame.

I’d say reappropriating/reclaiming the pejorative Kangz (as arguably has been done already) is more rewarding, and more likely to succeed, than trying to ban it outright.

There’s also a racial aspect to “Kangz”. After I looked into that, I stopped using the term. I used to think it was just stupid and funny.

I never heard the word until this forum. I thought it was like bizzaro Kings. The opposite of the heyday Kings, bad picks, bad play, bad attitude.

I had absolutely zero idea that it had any racist history. I wont be using it anymore.
