Erin Gone to SASS????

Rumor mill has it that Erin has signed an offer to SASS. If that is true Whiz has 10 days to match the offer...

One wonders if he can match the money. We did just sign Adrian Williams. So if this is a deal, it makes SASS front court quite a bit more athletic. SASS has traded for Irvin from Phoenix, and they still have Thomas and All-Star Sophia Young. Not to mention Chantelle once she is finally healthy.

I actually felt they should have been the 4th play-off team heading into the last few weeks of the season until Chantelle hurt her knee. Not sure how far they could have gone but IMO they have complimentary pieces that can make for a strong team.

I really like Erin, but I hate losing a player for nothing. If we had to lose her it would have been nice to get a player in return.

But hey, Whiz may match the offer. In any case I wish Erin all the success cause she is a really cool person.

That would not be good. But I will wait to hear from the Bee's beat writer. Melody Gutierrez I believe is her name. She seems to be on it every time.

I would be interested to see if Whiz does match that offer, I'm anti-getting raises the cheap and easy way, but hey, if she really wants to go and really wasn't getting what she thought she should get here then go for it. It also doesn't make sense from San Antonio's standpoint, because if rumors hold true that Feenstra and Ruth Riley are about to swap jerseys...then why load up like that in the front court.

Don't forget Biba and Wecker there in SA. That team may have gotten more dangerous.

If I'm Whiz, I bite the bullet and re-sign Buescher just on principle. Hughes may have seen fit to hog tie us cap wise, somebody may do the same with Maiga and force our hand. But we'll see, but that's what I want.

It is true. The Riley-for-Feenstra trade just happened this morning.

I do agree that the Silver Stars are really loading up now. However, my gut instinct tells me that Detroit got the better end of this deal.

Gawd, I'd hate to see Erin go. There were plenty of times the last couple of seasons where she brought the game up "a whole 'nother level".

Erin and Energy are synonymous.

I agree with you George, Erin is such a passionate player.
She is for sure a fan favorite & many will be dissapointed should she not be resigned. After all she did earn that ''Most improved player award''
Does that count for anything? Well if she does go to the Silverstars, we'll get to see plenty of her!
