That's reaching. If the current DUI laws and their associated penalties and repercussions aren't enough to prevent someone from drinking and driving, then that a team fired their coach for doing it certainly won't prevent them from doing it either. People react less to things that effect other people than they do to things that effect them directly.If their punishment serves to prevent someone else from making the same mistake, it could possibly save lives. I don't see what's ambiguous about that statement.
