Stockton and Iverson huh? I'm sensing there might be some chemistry issues there. Just make sure AI get to start:).

But what you fail to realize is that Phil Jackson is coaching his team, meaning he gains automatic "ego control" ability!

I had a few centers in mind for this pick and I had to look at the rules a few times before I decided on:

Bill Walton C

walton_bio_lg.jpg

Certainly not the King of durability, but we are assuming each player in his prime and in his prime Walton could do it all. The only player in NBA history to be an NBA MVP (78), NBA Finals MVP (77), and sixth man of the year (86). In his MVP year Walton averaged 18.9 ppg, 13.2 rpg, 5.0 apg, and 2.52 bpg. Still to this day, many consider Walton the greatest passing big man of all time. From NBA.com:

At the top of his form, Walton scored, passed, intimidated, hustled, and played the role of leader with the best centers of his day. He was a perfectionist whose range of skills and dedication never ceased to impress those who saw him play.

"Throw it down big man, throw it down."

Woah if you just glance at that picture it looks like he has his right arm cut off at the elbow! I'm amazed Walton actually lasted this long also so great pickup!:D

Also is it my pick?

Viking and Peja are up... GOD I NEED THAT CENTER!!!!!!!!!!!!

testing the youtube thingy..

When you embed a youtube clip into your post, it actually already has a link in the title. The code for embedding is as follows:
yt[=Your Title Here]the youtube address after the = sign[/yt]
[yt=Go Kings!]bi0s19M2mN4[/yt]

the yt is in the brackets, and you should avoid spaces...

The suspense is killing me until my next pick.

I'm trying to figure out how much longer I can go w/o selecting a certain person..

I'm tempted to wait until Round 6.

well I did that now, have a white screen and a title no video
Double check that there are no spaces...Also some videos don't allow embedding, and will say embedding disabled by request:(. If there are more than 1 = signs us the info after the 1st one...

Here is the web address http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=irp8CNj9qBI

now use the code [yt= your title here]

next you put irp8CNj9qBI (the info after the = sign...)

and finally put the end bracket on...[yt] with a / before the yt.

Make sure there are no spaces

It should look like this

[yt=Bohemian Rhapsody]irp8CNj9qBI[/yt]

Here it is...

Tim Hardaway

Hardaway96.jpg

2007-02-14-hardaway.jpg

What I needed was a gamechanger on offense that can shoot the long ball, drive, and distribute. Hardaway can do that and much more.

You might remember him for his homophobic comments, but Tim Hardaway was one of the best point guards during his era. Hardaway was small at 6 feet, but that didn't matter to him or to the opposing team getting torched. He was known for his devastating crossover dribble, dubbed the UTEP 2 step.

As part of the Warriors' attack, Hardaway was responsible for leading Run TMC's fast break, displaying his excellent passing and one-on-one skills.In his best seasons, Hardaway averaged nearly 24 points and 10 assists per game. Hardaway has competed in five NBA All-Star Games. Together with center Alonzo Mourning he led the Heat to some of the franchise's best seasons. He was an MVP candidate following the 1996-97 season, making it to the All-NBA First Team after leading the Heat to the best record in franchise history while averaging 20.3 points, 8.6 assists, and being fourth in the league with 203 three-point baskets.

Hardaway recorded 5,000 points and 2,500 assists faster than any player in NBA history except Oscar Robertson. Hardaway accomplished it in 262 games; Robertson took only 247

Hardaway holds the record for most assists in Miami Heat franchise history: 1,947

Hardaway shares the record for second most steals in an NBA Playoffs game, with 8 in Game 2 of the 1991 Western Conference Semifinals against the Los Angeles Lakers and in Game 4 of the 1992 Western Conference First Round against the Seattle SuperSonics

In 1991-92, Hardaway became the 7th player in NBA history to average 20 points (23.4 ppg) and 10 assists (10.0 apg) in a season, a feat he accomplished again in 1992-93 (21.5 ppg, 10.6 apg)

1989 WAC Player of the Year

Selected to 2 National Teams

* 5x NBA All-Star (1991-1993, 1997-1999)
* 1x All-NBA First Team Selection (1997)
* 3x All-NBA Second Team Selection (1992, 1998-1999)
* 1x All-NBA Third Team Selection (1993)
* 1990 NBA All-Rookie First Team

Mitch "Rock" Richmond

act_mitch_richmond.jpg

They call me rock, not just because of what I do with the rock... for a far more important reason, between those four lines I do whatever it takes; game time, practice time, every time.

Consistent, Steady, Solid...as a rock..

[yt=Rock][[<object width="445" height="364"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Jbtn4B5GH-M&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&color1=0x3a3a3a&color2=0x999999&border=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Jbtn4B5GH-M&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&color1=0x3a3a3a&color2=0x999999&border=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="445" height="364"></embed></object>][/url][/yt]

"The next best to Michael Jordan, yeah, Mitch Richmond.."
"...his defense is good as Michael's"
"Mitch can get a guy into foul trouble, because of his strength, his ability to play off the ball and in his hands.."
"He's one of the few guys who can, and try to post up Michael.."

Position: Shooting Guard

One of the NBA's most underrated and greatest guards of all time, great shooting stroke, clutch, extremely strong, good all around player, faced double and triple teams in Sacramento, think of what he can do on my team?
I was extremely surprised he flew under the radar, I mean his jersey hangs in arco ;)

Career averages of 21PPG/4RPG/4AST/1STEAL

on 46% FG SHOOTING with 39% three point shooting..

by the way, his greatest year? With Sacramento..

26PPG/4RPG/4AST/1.5STEAL 45%FG SHOOTING 43% 3 POINT

I needed a scorer, I got one of the best ones.
