Clips and Wiz won today! Adding another space between us and the rest of the pretenders! Maybe we can win some (especially on Vlade's retirement) to make the race a bit closer!
We either cut the buffer in half on Friday by being idiots, or we really put the pressure on the others by finding a way to lose. Arenas says he's coming back this weekend too, so if we can pull off the loss, there is even the chace the Wizards might win a couple and help us out the last couple of weeks.
Apparently the front office knows exactly what they're doing. They've hired impersonators to pretend to be NBA basketball players, but didn't do any kind of screening for talent, or skill, or anything silly like that.

Wow. I think I had maybe a 1000 when the crash happened. Any way to check that? Also I don't even recall my join year here.. I know I was at the bleacher mob forums in 01-02 ish.
I barely saw this game. I saw it in passing and was sure the Kings were down 20+... No? They won?? Of course they did because when I finally came through, there was Mr. Hawes sitting on press row with Jerry and Grant.

I don't think the Kings were ever down at all, let alone by 20+ ... If anything, they may have switched leads a couple of times but the Suns never had control of the situation at all.
SOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY! It was a perfect game from a longterm standpoint; valuable experience, good passing, team play, competitive, just a mental lapse at the end.
I'm watching the Houston situation more closely than our own pick right now, and this game impacted both. One or two wins/losses each way for Houston and the rest of the West playoff teams can be the difference between picking 26th and picking 21st. The higher that second pick gets, the more opportunity we have to trade picks and/or players around and maybe get something even higher.

But tommorow night will be a great night to worry about both simultaneously -- Hornets at Clippers, Hornets have half the team misssinhg and supergimp Davcid West may not be able to go. Nice clean double win for us if the Clips can pull it off. If the Clips even care enough to show up of course.
