denver trade

Starter
mikki moore, john salmons and artest for iverson and steven hunter

beno/quincy/draft
martin/garcia
iverson/garcia
hunter/spencer/shelden/thomas/draft
miller/spencer/shelden

hunter has gotten better every year. in the 06-07 season he averaged 1 block, 5 boards and 6 points a game. his stats have increased every year, but this year he hasnt been seeing the floor in denver. if he can get playing time he can be pretty good.

Can Martin play SF very well? He seems better with Guards... however, with Iverson, Martin, and Udrih on the floor, the ball/offense could move very quickly.

martin is 6'6. thats the usual height for sf or just tall shooting guards. i think that lineup would be sick.

I would say the average for a SF is 6'8, 6'7 at the least. Martin is not only too small to play SF regularly, he's also too weak. 6'6 is not particularly tall for a SG. I'd say it's around average.

Also, no to this trade. Does nothing for us. I'd rather let Ron opt-out, or else trade him for someone that's not at the tail end of their career.

There's NO WAY Iverson would go for it. He's much closer to a championship in Denver than he is with a rebuild in Sacto. Denver is a player away. I think they make a move this off-season, but to add a player for that last run before shedding contracts.

I don't know. Wasn't it he who nixed a trade with Bibby in the first place? Our predicted lineup was going to be:
PG- Iverson
SG- Martin
SF- Artest
PF- #9
C- Miller
