Did he say anything that was untrue? No. He's a reporter. DMC needs to grow up if he doesn't want to hear things like that. I'm tired of all the coddling that professional athletes get....

The NBA is a drama, and Cousins is the newest villain. I doubt that Sager thought of this.
i dont have a problem with sagers stating his opinion... my issue is the time and place... for cousins personally.. its like adding salt to the wound... im sure he was upset that he didnt get the mvp as is already... then on top of that he has some idiot rubbing it in...
lets not forget hes only 20 years old... hell eventually mature...
aw ;_;"I had some flashbacks (to Kentucky)," Cousins said. "It was fun being out there with John. That year didn't last long enough, but it's over now."
Someone needs to make a .gif of Cousins' face. That was priceless

This is going to be Cousins' reality. We can blame the media all we want, but that doesn't change the reality of the situation. The sooner Cousins realizes that there is real negative backlash to his behavior beyond the team giving him a slap on the wrist, the better.

There is nothing that will change the basic anger/competitiveness that is part of him. He can deal with it better and usually as people get older, some of that tends to mellow. As one coach said, I'd rather have the task of trying to control the fire in a player than to try to build a fire under him.![]()
