L.A Clippers played a great game against the Nuggets. I walked in the door to catch the last coupla minutes and this game was very close and competitive. Melo had a solid game but could not overcome Brand and Livingstons efforts.. im not sure who will win this series! good stuff!

Well I think it depends if Denver wins the next game. If they do, they go back to the mile high city 1-1 with homecourt. If they don't then they have to go 4-1 over the next 5 games.

Was anyone else very impressed with Kenyon's defense on Brand btw? I mean yeah, Brand got his points but he had to WORK for them whenever Kenyon was on him.

If you watched the game, especially in the 4th quarter, you'd see he played real good D on Brand. He's not overrated, everyone besides Denver fans continually say he's overrated and bash him though. He's overrated a year or 2 ago, not anymore.

that was a good game! the clippers nearly lost it at the end, but i'm glad they won. i have nothing against the nuggets, but i really want the clippers to win so i can make fun of my lakers friends who ragged on the clippers ALL year long. i would love to see the clippers advance and the lakers go home, that would be awesome!

plus, how can you not root for them just so their fans have something to be happy about?? it's gotta be tough being a clippers fan, i'd love to see their loyal fans have something to cheer about

The Clippers are ahead by 20 in the 3rd quarter. They are playing like they have totally figured out the Denver Nuggets.

Clippers are doing great. They are second on my list of favorite teams after the Kings of course. My friend has had season tickets for years and I have gone to many many games. Well this year he sold his tickets and now they make the playoffs. Lifes a b*tch aint it.

I think there done already... Clipps completely take away their fast break points and they don't have any shooters which results in no half court game. They don't even have a great post player. Their best shooters are Camby and Buckner.

The Nuggets are fake, i thought they are supposed to be better than this. .................Guard the paint, key on their lobbing passes, make sure you control the tempo, these frikkin players can't shoot the ball outside 10 feet even if their lives depend on it. They simply haven't learnt the lesson the Spurs taught them last year !

You are quite right, I was watching the game last night and I saw the nuggets brick shot after shot. I did not realize they were in that desparate need for a shooter. I saw Boykins put up 5-6 bricks in a row before finally hitting a shot and cutting the lead to 18 or whatever it was.

Nuggets are done.

They will come back strongly in Denver because of the altitude and all plus the home court advantage. But the clips will finish them off in 5 or 6 games.

Clips could afford to tank games because they won lots of games earlier and the rest of the teams didnt (other than spurs or mavs).

Nugs and suns will be the same, great regular season team winning 45 - 50 games easily but will go nowhere in the playoffs.

Shame on you! you of all peopel should know better than use a straw man argument (atleast against someone who teaches argumentation for a living)

You know as well as I do that NO ONE said tanking games to get a weak first round oponent led to first round losses... that is just absurd.

yeah, looks to be the Clippers series pretty easy. I had favored the Nugs, but Brand, Cassel and the rest probably deserve to advance to the next round. fun to watch!

Well Kenyon's been suspended by Karl. Apparently he wanted to play minutes but Karl said not unless you play in practice. I've heard the reason he's not practicing is he's trying to get his knee to heal and he doesn't want to hurt it more. Considering that he was playing good D on Brand the first game(I didn't watch the second but he only play 6 minutes in that one) it's a dumb move IMO.
