Cisco back next week

Saw them mention it on the telecast a couple of times tonight. Curious what you guys think will happen as far as minutes go with both Cisco and Kmart back.

I for one think we absolutely need a trade to thin our wings asap because there just aren't enough minutes for:

Martin
Greene
Garcia
Beno
Sergio
Omri
Noc
Udoka

Looking at that list im a little flabbergasted at just what a crappy situation PW is in for trying to keep that list of guys happy and contributing.

Westphal plays Udoka a ton. Give Garcia those minutes until the deadline when (hopefully) more playing time opens up.

Garcia at his peak is talented enough to attain more than the 15 mpg that have been allotted to Udoka. I suspect Noc will definitely go, but don't be surprised if Casspi gets some minutes taken away too. I hope not because the worst thing that can happen to a rookie within a rook wall is having minutes taken away, but we'll see what transpires here.

I am under the impression that a successful return for Garcia could make Martin that much more expendable. Garcia is a heart-on-his-sleeves type of vocal leader that could be successful for the Kings. His emotion is certainly something that can rub off on the kids.

A poor return probably won't make any difference.

I love how Cisco isnt afraid to get in the opponents face. he is a decent shot blocker, great shooter and is a good defender. I cant wait for his return.

we've had a good look at rodriguez and he has been a turnover machine at times

noc we need his vet and toughness. also raise his trade value

hilton we havent seen much of him but has shown some pretty good shot blocking for limited minutes

i say rodriguez wears the suit.

Yeah, I expect Garcia to take Udoka's minutes when he returns. After a few games, we'll take stock and see how everyone fits in now and start considering the future. It's obvious Noce needs to go now, but I don't think you need to immediately ship anyone else out just yet.

I've long said that Cisco sliding into the starting linuep as a platoon roleplayer at SG is the way to go -- leadership, passing, shooting, its a practical checklist fo what we neede there. And then Cisco, Casspi, Donte -- three scrappy guys with good length, outside shoting ability, and energy. THOSE are the wings to put next to Reke. Beno gets his role back off he bench. Udoka and Sergio are still around for spot minutes. Sanity is restored.

That's the way it should work. Will it? I don't know.

While I like Martin, this just makes too much sense especially if we can get a quality big back in trade, preferrably a solid center.
