Hall of Famer
Kings went to the East Coast got swept and came home riding the 7 game linning streak and 10-37 record. If You flip Your computer upside down You will see Kings leading the Western conference. If You just read regular paper - don't lift it too high because we might fall off the page. We are a very special team. A unique team. 0-21 against the East is remarkable. We have officially proven that theory of big numbers is garbage.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
January almost over and Kings are 2-13 with home game against the Bulls left. About what we could have expected. February has less days and we should be grateful for that. We have 13 games, 6 at home and 7 on the road. This is a very dangerous month for us. If we keep it up trough many challenges in the February and keep our position - we won't be stopped.

Oklahoma City - first opportunity to screw up. This is a must lose game for us
@ Phoenix - easy L
vs. Utah - winning this one wouldn't hurt at all especially considering the occasion.
@ Oklahoma City - must lose (squared)
@ Dallas - easy L since they will look for payback
@ Houston - anything could happen because Houston sucks
vs Atlanta - running out of opportunities to get a woss against the East (assuming we don't beat the Bulls)
@ Memphis - right before the trade deadline. Hopefully we won't have to worry about losing this one because counts double. KT will play
-------------------------------------
@ Dallas - we can use this game to learn the names of new players which we will hopefully get.
vs New Orleans - should try to win this one because it doesn't hurt
vs Charlotte - will be hard to lose this one but not impossible
vs LA Clippers - damn it! Clippers will ruin it for us because it is must lose for them too and they are the Clippers and we aren't
@ Utah - L

all in all 3 wins would be tolerable - more than that would just be careless
--------------------------------------------------------------------
No Kings at the all Star Weekend. The couple guys who had a decent shot were unfortunate to be stuck on a veteran team going nowhere. Not a big deal anyways. We aren't going to have an allstar for a while but JT will make it next season along with our draft pick assuming someone will be sane enough to let them play.
----------------------------------------------------------------
7 game losing streak we are on features some incredible performances sponsored by the stealth Kings defense.
Redd scored 44 and Mbah a Moute had a career game.
Kleiza had a game of the season (27pts)
Blatche had a minster game (20 pts0
Mbah a Moute, Sessions and Elston showed again that coincidence doesn't exist
Bargnani had 24/7/7
Mo Williams had a career game 43/8/11
House had a 28 points - 3 shy of the career high.

We allowed gazillion points per game threatening to overload the score boards in all the arenas. We don't suck any more. Another expression is needed.

Can't talk much about the road trip because I haven't watched much. It isn't bad at all that one has no memory of the 4 losses in the last week. All I have are numbers. Doesn't feel that bad. Made me realize how much I hate losing and how hard it is to accept the situation and to embrace losses. Maybe we will feel better after the trade deadline, maybe we wont. Same goes for the lottery and the draft night. One is clear. We might not survive another season like this in many ways. Winning as well as losing is way of life and the line between both is very narrow but also heavy favoring the losing part.

Loss to Boston was given the moment the schedule came out. The only open part about the game was - how are we going to lose ? Easy in the 2nd quarter. Their bench killed us. Eddie House who scored "28" points during his stint with the Kings scored 28 points remembering the Tony Delk days. Our starters barely outscored their bench. 19 pt loss was too good for us considering they shot 55% and 69% from three having more rebounds and assists and less turnovers. And the even didn't try hard.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
TDM went to Eddie House the MVP candidate, the allstar the future hall of famer
LW-VC went to Pierce who was sooooooooooo bad but wasn't really needed.
RA&1 went to Perkins. He failed to score against the Kings in 24 minutes of play beating whole statistic and probability laws ahowing us that other teams have mikki Moore too. I am confident taht in 24 minutes of play - avout 5 billion people on this planet would at least score a point.
JHA- Spencer was pretty useless
SAR - Methuselah - Brad wasn't even that good
Mikki - Beno Udrih - the sooner I foul out the less time I have to be embarrased.

WTF moment of the game - Eddie frigging House. To hell with this game.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bulls are next at home where Kings are 7-15 which is dominant comparing the 3-22 road record. We need to beat a team from the East at least once this season because we have already broken too many records. We have 9 chances but they go quickly. Bulls have many injuries and have sucked as of late but they did win their last game in LA but then again who hasn't ?
Kings are already playing in front of close friends and next of kin. Going to Kings games has been considered a cruel punishment for a while. I expect a lot of points and a close ending where WTF moments will happen over and over again.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Martin - what would he do without the FT line
Beno - awful
Brad - pathetic
Salmons - someone please watch him play in the next couple of weeks
JT - hell yeah !

rest of the kids - need to play
geriatrics - don't need to play
------------------------------------------------------------------
Bulls are 6-17 on the road and they have the theory of big numbers going against them as Kings will try to stop the 0-21 against the East. Biggest problem with Bulls is that their bench sucks as they have inured players. Perfect opportunity to get them going. Noah wind the TDM. Hughes will get the LW-VC award. Kings might actually win this. Nah, who am I kidding. We will fin the way to lose.

Don't care if we win, really don't even care if we keep it close. I just want to see jt continue his improvement, hawes contribute something (and actually get decent minutes), have bobby brown take more of beno's minutes, and hopefully have salmons get injured in a car accident on the way to the game.

Harsh...

...I'd prefer it if Salmons puts up a line like 45/12/13...And the Bulls decide to trade us Rose for him :p

Anyways. I'm just hoping for more beastin by JT. And Hawes shooting above 30% would be pretty nice too.

Amen to the bolded part...and welcome back!

Somehow, coming to the board to discuss the game just isn't the same without your insight.

:)

As long as we're last at the end of the day, I don't really care what happens. I wouldn't mind beating Houston because my brother goes for them.

just had a pre game meal with fat lever as guest speaker. sat with sign lady and mr. sign lady (its on the back of his jearsy).

david thorpe from espn is sitting center court behind the media tables.

We are capable of losing to anyone, anytime, but really you could not ask for more of a cakewalk homestand. Even with OKlahoma City improving, the two teams are a combined 30 games under .500 or something. If we don't at least split them we may never win another game.

One can hope....

i wonder when the webber comparisons will stop w/thompson.

unlike webber, thompsons hands are horrible. he loses the ball inside so much. all he can do with those rock mitts of his is clap his hands together after he does something stupid.

He's not Webber, but you do realize he's a rookie from Rider right? He's not going to be perfect right away

gah I really hate listening to some of the other teams' commentators. They're just so clueless and biased

im not asking for perfection, but it seems like every other game he loses an entry pass, dribbles the ball off his foot, loses a rebound because he cant hold it, or gets the ball taken from him.

i would expect a kid who supposedly play point guard to be able to hold onto the ball. half the time he tries to do something before he even catches it, and the other half, he just looks clumsy.

Let's just play the game with a line up of Hawes Thompson Greene Martin and Garcia for the rest of the game. Let Martin take 70 shots and score 60 or something

I don't understand why we always like to take the ball out of the hands of whoever's hot. Martin hasn't touched the ball in ages
