Bruce Bowen would get KILLED! no joke, you dont mess with my man Ron Artest like that.

Yeah majority of fans from 29 teams think Bowen is a dirty. And if the Spurs waived Bowen GMs from 29 teams would be lining up to try to sign him, including yours truly Geoff Petrie. And if the Kings happened to be lucky enough to be the ones to sign him 90+% of Kings fans would be blowing kisses to him faster than Lakers fans did to Karl.Sorry, Spurs fan. When fans of EVERY other team in the league, fans who usually can't see eye to eye on ANYTHING, can agree about Bruce Bowen and his tactics, you just have to wonder. Exactly who is it who isn't seeing the truth?

He hasn't thrown elbows, taken anybody down going to the paint, undercut anybody, come close to hurting anybody, got any Ts or ejections. What I saw of Massenberg getting dropped off the playoff squad was not fitting in and calling out the team as soft, something Webber did in the summer, not that Adelman was offended by his "dirty play".
I see Brad throwing some unneccesarily hard fouls at times. I seriously doubt you'll get a lot of fans from other teams or players for that matter to say he 's not a pretty chippy player at times. Kings are not pure as driven snow.

I have no problem with hard fouls as long as they're not cheap shots OR foot slides to try and take a player out of a game.
striker said:Bowen has been playing in the NBA for nine years. Tell me again how many players he's injured. If he's trying to "take players out of games" he's doing a pretty lousy job of it.
striker said:Dirk took Manu out for about half a seaon when he ran out and slid a foot under him on a Manu jump shot. I guess Dirk's dirty and should be run out of the league too. He's caused more serious injuries than Bowen afterall.

Been through it before. I don't think it was intentional. You're going to say I'm a ridiculous homer. Fine. Let's assume it was intentional. How long ago was it? How many similar incidents have there been? How many players had far more flagrant fouls, more than one? Artest? Kenyon? Juwan Howard alone has put two Spurs on the IR with flagrant fouls. Bradley with his flying elbows? I can name dozens more. One potentially balatant event that has become the "Bowen's dirty" lynch mobs bible. Sorry not impressed with your overwhelming evidence from a nine year career.
