Will the Celtics close it out tonight or does the series head back to Boston? The poll part of this will close at tip-off.

I don't like to say this but I think Lakers will win tonight, although I am rooting for Boston.

I said Boston in 6 at the start of the series. So, based on that, I got a funny feeling that the Lakers will show some pride in delaying the Boston celebration until Tuesday. Here are my keys to watch for in this game.

1. Emotional level from the Lakers. The Lakers blew a 24 point lead. The first quarter of this game will be important. If the Lakers are down by more than 7 after the first, they are done. I don't think that will happen tonight.

2. For Boston, finish the job. L.A. has no answer inside for Boston. The Celtics should get a few looks for Garnett and put the Lakers away. When the double team comes, rotate the ball from that side to the other for an open look.

In the end, I hope Boston win, but I think the Lakers will play good tonight to get it to Game 6 in Boston.

Lakers win. NBA doesn't want this series to go only 5... and we'll have to end up with a compelling storyline of some sort heading into game 6 as well.

Celtics. That last game was too humiliating and the weaker Lakers will be no-shows. Kobe will have a monster game for 3 quarters before being contained in the 4th and the outcome will be in little doubt down the stretch.

Sorry, don't want to jinx it... I meant Lakers crush them!

Before the finals began, I predicted that Boston would win in 6 by winning games 1,2,4,6. That means the Lakers win game 5. That was my prediction and I'm sticking with it.

I also predicted Boston in 6 but I would absolutely love to see them smack the Lakers at home one last time.

But, with 9:49 left in the 2nd, LAL leads 43-28 so it might end up being 6 after all.

Not that I would mind either way, mind you. Remember, my diabolical plan all along was for the Lakers to suffer defeat at the hands of the Celtics. Thus far, it appears my sinister plan has worked to near perfection.

• Pau Gasol's whiny face is MUCH WORSE than Brad Miller's bitter beer face.

• Kobe Bryant has at least twice gone right by the official that made a call and tried to appeal his case to Dick Bavetta...to no avail.

• Chanting "MVP" at this point in Staples is more than just a little silly.

Rajan Rondo has a great future in front of him. He's young and makes mistakes, but he's the real deal. And calling Kevin Garnett trash is delusional.

And now it starts to get interesting. With any other team, I'd think a 12-point lead in the 4th quarter might at least be an indication of a possible win. With the Lakers, though, there's no way their bench should be acting like they've got this game sewn up.

You know, I just realized another reason I hate and detest the Lakers. They all act so blasted entitled all the time. Like the league, the fans and the universe itself owe them this title or something.

Blech.
