Bill King passed away

Legendary bay area announcer Bill King died this morning, reportedly getting a blood clot in one of his lungs during hip surgery.



RIP Bill, you will be missed

Best sports announcer ever.

When I was in college, I got to sit up in the A's broadcast booth with King, Lon Simmons, and Ray Fosse. I'll never forget it.
