Don't Make Me Use The Bat
Since we have a thread discussing almost all of the major names being tossed around out there. Here's a guy I don't even like, but he can score, and clear up multiple problems/balance issues for us, while adding softness.

Maybe. They apparently desperately want to unload Bargnani, and are going to want to save face doing so. Ross might be a tough pry though. Although he would be pointless after you had both DeRozan and Thornton. You might have to settle for Bargs and Dominic McGwire, who we briefly had before, and is a handy defenise roleplayer type. Or you might have to throw in IT, who has the tiny contract and would give them the platoon we should have had with IT/Lowry after they move Calderon or let him go over the summer.
In any case, potentially you would take the Kings team that played and won last night, remove nothing off of it that contributed (unless you had to add IT to get Ross), and then have some pretty serious firepower coming back to it with Tyreke and Bargnani waiting in the wings. Bargs would have to be the 6th man. But we would have a true stretch 4 in every sense of the term. It frees Jimmer to be the backup SG. We keep Cisco to take those backup SG minutes if the opponent is too big/physical. Or if we get Ross, we have a young kid with potential for the spot.
Cousins
Thompson
Salmons
Tyreke
It or Brooks
6th- Bargnani
7th- IT or Brooks
8th- Johnson
9th- Fredette or Ross
10th- Hayes
Cisco
Outlaw
Honeycutt
I dunno. It would balance us out some, have our 3 main scorers each with their own portfolios and ways of working together. Bargs just gives me the willies thoguh. So soft and passionless. Meanwhile we give up two guys who maybe have too much of it/the selfish gene going on. Maybe Bargs and Cuz could rub off on each other though and both emerge as better men.
