I finally figured out what really truly irks me about JD. He acts as though he's doing everyone a favor by being there IMHO... And I hate how he constantly jumps up and down. It's more than a little annoying. And the way he breathes... and takes up valuable space on the stage...
Okay, I know I'm ranting. As complimentary as INXS have been about JD, they have never really said he'd fit in with "our band INXS."

Of those left, I have to regretfully agree it was Jordis' time to go. And now it's gonna get really tough.
Regardless of the reports that INXS won't have a female lead, I think Sweet Suzie is still right there. Mig is there, but was I the only one who noticed how scared he looked last night? I can understand it, but if that nervousness translates into any of his singing, it might be just the little thing that takes him out.
At this point, it's gonna be all about stepping up to the occasion. I have no doubts Marty can do it; he's shown he's willing to meet INXS half way, honoring their style and still able to retain his own. I just do not think JD is capable of doing that. He has shown time and time again that he thinks his concepts are more important than the band's. It's good for a solo artist but not exactly right for a front man.
Regardless of who ends up getting the deal, I would love to see INXS record "Trees" with Marty doing the lead. I love that song!
