Not Adam. I hated his U2 - One it sounded awful. And his 2nd song was even worse. I think he's going off reputation at this point, because he BUTCHERED both songs tonight.
I loved Kris' 'Heartless' and Danny's 'You are so Beautiful' was sung flawlessly.
Why does it have to be "hate"? Why can't people express their preferences without it having to be about hating someone?
I can prop Adam on one thing.
The guy looks like a bona-fide 100% rock star, and that cannot be taken from him.
Then he starts singing, and my comments will digress.

Yes, I love his talent but I'm not always a fan of how he uses it. I think he may have a hard time selling pop records to the masses compared to Allison and Kris (I know I sound like a broken record here but give me some credit for seeing Kris's potential for weeks while the judges pimped other contestants insteadWhat bothers me about Adam is that he's been the most current artist throughout this season, yet he's never done a current song. He needs to sing a song by Jet or The White Stripes, something to show what kinds of records he would be making. But as I said before, I'd love to hear him sing The Darkness - "I Believe In A Thing Called Love"
While I agree in general, Slash was totally wrong about doing that for Whole Lotta Love. Then again Slash encouraged Danny to go for the scream. If Adam would only listen to my man Slash. Slash gave him terrific advice "don't improvise so much in the upper register". "when you sing in the lower registers it sounds REALLY cool".
How? By relentlessly screaming and refusing to stop screaming...that's how, imho. I mean even the number he did with KISS was great until the end, when he screamed on past when the song was over.
I predict Adam will be less successful than Daughtry, unless he stumbles on a good manager who can stop him screaming so much.
I likke Kris, and I think he's going to put out some really good music overall. I'm shocked at the result, but I'm not mad about it.So true. I'm half-surprised to see so many fervent Lambert supporters on here. Sure, he's got a voice, but if you've heard one of his songs, you've heard them all. That's how I feel his career will be too.
And are you guys really surprised with the results? Where did you think all the Danny Gokey votes would go? To Mr. Glam Rock Screams-a-lot? No.
Kris is the more talented musician overall. A multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and nearly as good of range as Lambert. I know the whole competition is supposed to be on voice alone, still America made the right choice.
