Wow, Duane Causwell posted up on Kingsfans way back in 96-97? That'd have to be the only time he posted up on anything. (except bail)
I love this quote from the Sporting News during Causie's time with the Heat in 2001.
"Without Mourning, Riley was left with a choice between Duane Causwell and Todd Fuller as his starting center. He decided his best option was none of the above."
What a dynamic duo Causie and Officer OP gave us in the middle during the dark ages.
I suppose that means I'm obliged to give Mitch another vote just for enduring that. "The Rock" indeed.
(And a shoutout to Vlade, C-Webb and Miller -- for making us forget how absolutely awful it was before them)
- Chris
- Mike (his lack of defense always bothered me, but I loved his heart and reliability and I loved the way he and Chris worked together)
- Bobby
- And, even though it was short-lived, I really liked Jim Jackson's contribution to the team
Jim Les.....the guy was money from 3. Back in 1996, there was an LPGA event at Twelve Bridges. They had a Pro Am event on Wednesday and Jim Les was in the group with a guy that I was a caddy for. The guy I caddied for was an *** (probably because he was a hack) but Jim was pretty cool.
I know who is my least favorite king. Billy Owens who i met while i was just a kid back in 95 at the old lucky's on Gerber Rd. My cousin and I approached him while in the produce isle and asked him to sign our Kings hats and he told us to "get lost kids". I know those were harsh seasons but still he was a JERK.
Anyways how about John barry i thought i would hear his name more but i guess not.
