A new deal¡¡¡

Spanish_King

G-League
I'm a new boy in that forum and I have thinking about a trade with Chicago Bulls.

KINGS

Out: John Salmons, Shelden Williams and Mikki Moore
In: Kirk Hinrich (When he will be OK), Aaron Gray and Tyrus Thomas.

BULLS

Out: Kirk Hinrich (When he will be OK), Aaron Gray and Tyrus Thomas.
In: John Salmons, Shelden Williams and Mikki Moore

FOR KINGS

* Thomas is a young player who can play like PF and C. I think about him playing of the bench with Thompson and Hawes like starters.
* Hinrich is a very well PG and he can play so well to the team. He also can shoot good and organize the team.
* Gray is a young and big men. He can rebound so well and get points. He would be the third Center later Hawes and Miller.

worst trade ever.

you didnt even put a reason why the bulls would do it... its cuz they wouldnt.

maybe you should make a thread about mikki+thomas for lebron or something of that sort.

A new deal? I approve!

Don't worry, Spanish_King. Not all of us are quick to jump. Again, welcome.

I was just about to say the same. Welcome to the board SK, and don't worry about your trade proposal. It's not perfect, but I can assure you it's better than at least half the trade proposals in the personnel forum! :)

I've thought about acquiring Hinrich, but his injury makes it complicated. I was thinking more along the lines of:

Miller, Salmons, Udrih for Hughes, Hinrich.

Not going to do much for us short term, but it frees up time for the kids. Hughes, if healthy can be a back up defender. Hinrich is solid defender, good passer and can shoot the three at a respectable percentage.

For Chicago they get some help up front with Miller, streamlining their front court rotation. Udrih and Salmons both to the bench as support roles.

Long term, the money looks about the same, while the short term gives both teams advantages.

thanks everybody. I also should say that my english isn't perfect and sometimes I can say which I want to say.
Welcome to the board. :) I agree with 6th, you're doing just fine. There's quite a few forum members for whom English is a second language (or 3rd, 4th language).

On a somewhat related not, anybody notice that Tyrus Thomas, who was the hot choice for Most Improved Player on many websites is currently shooting under 30%?

Don't worry, SpanishKing; English is my 2nd language as well, so it's all good. That trade btw needs amending; Kirk Hinrich is on John Salmons's level arguably in terms of trade value (at least when he's not injured), and Ty Thomas is better than Moore and Williams combined. There's no reason why Chicago will pull that off.

If we are dealing with Chicago, try to get Drew Gooden and Cedric Simmons. Those contracts come off the books this year. I think those two and first rounder would get Miller and try to throw in Douby.

If were were to deal with the Bulls it would be wise to do so now...the Bulls are gonna be a little upset after there 40 point loss to the Blazers tonight and they are gonna be motivated to take a small risk to try to improve their team right now. I think they'd be willing to make a good deal for Brad Miller. They could use his court vision and veteran status.

While I do think that the Bulls wouldn't take this deal, I think it may be important to look for suitors before the return of Cisco, in the off-chance that he ends up supplanting Salmons and/or taking a majority of his minutes. Sell high!

Aw, shucks. I didn't even realize he was a new poster. I was just so excited about work relief programs. I'm still trying to figure out how the helicopter fits...

I don't think this trade is as one sided as people make it out to be. Tyrus Thomas is garbage. He can block some shots but is shooting an awful 29% from the field and is at 42% for his career. Seriously hes Stromile Swift 2.0, great athlete terrible basketball player. Salmons and Hinrich are roughly equal value wise, although i think Salmons is the better player while Hinrich plays a more coveted position.

That still is 22yr old Tyrus Thomas for Williams and Moore. Williams is only three years older and his GM has already quit on him.

Both Williams and Moore would be lucky to be in the league next season.

This trade doesn't seem as bad as people are making it out to be. Although, I am not really all that excited about Hinrich or Thomas. I think I would prefer to go after a large expiring such as Wally from the Cavs or even Marbury from the Knicks. Maybe even Jason Kidd.

Are there any good free agents next year? Our 2010 plan isn't looking that great considering practically every team in the NBA is making room for 2010. What about Carlos Boozer?
