3 way deal

This isn't a rumor....

Sac gets: David Lee, Avery Bradley, Timofey Mozgov

Cleveland gets: Rudy Gay, Ben McLemore, Kosta Koufos, 1st rounder from Boston

Boston gets: Kevin Love

Thoughts?

Lee is a throw away. Mozgov would be an adequate replacement for Koufos. And Bradley would be the only reason to do that deal. He'd improve our perimeter defense, as well as make it tougher for guards to get into the paint.

That said, can't see something like this happening.

Essentially, were giving up Gay, McLemore, and Koufos for Bradley. At the very least, I'd want the first round pick as well.

As much as I like Avery Bradley, I hate the idea of making deals this season. The defensive and offensive schemes are complete crap for this team, and I think it's distorting our ability the gauge the values of our players. Trading away assets doesn't solve the deeper problem with this team and seems extremely short sighted to me. Gay is on a great contract, Koufos is a solid big, and McLemore can be serviceable imo in the right system.

I say let the season play out, trash Karl, establish our long term goals/set a foundation, THEN make these kinds of moves. I hope Vlade takes his calling for patience to heart.

Simply because you brought up Karl's defensive scheme, I thought I post this quote from WCS.

There is nothing wrong with our schemes,” rookie center Willie Cauley-Stein said recently. “It’s the same thing we ran at Kentucky. It’s all about guys wanting to defend.”

I completely disagree. Sure effort may be a part of it, but the fundamentals of our defense/offense are flawed for this roster. This article highlights some of these issues.

It's so blatantly obvious when I watch
