The Kings not only have guys who are fast but they fake fast, and then can drive and pass. this is what will open the offense up. Having station to station 3pt shooters will allow defenses to key in on Fox. Now we can make the opposition pay much quicker for making bad switches and give them less time to recover on cuts, and give them less spots they can hide sub-optimal defenders

Keegan murray thrives in transition and is a very effective cherry picker, Monk too. Why would we not want to speed teams up and get them to play our pace.

The brand of basketball will be much more enjoyable to watch too. Having the ball whip around crisply without players who use much of the shotclock is infectious and hopefully can spark a big turnaround in the 3pt shooting and success will follow that.

I would rank drafting Manu/Parker/Kawahii ahead of drafting Duncan. Not a slight on TD, but he was the consensus number 1 pick. The Spurs were smart enough to tank and give themselves a shot, but grabbing him was still a huge piece of luck than smarts. Drafting the other guys with late first/second round picks, or by moving up in the draft was the real deal.

Fair enough. I wouldn't necessarily argue against that point. I would, however, most likely group Manu and Tony with the Duncan pick, and make all three my consensus number one. KL would be a little lower on the list, maybe in the top 3, maybe just outside.

We had the other side of the equation last season no? N they ended up right where they've been, in the lottery..What'll get the team wins is building the right way around Fox..

Was it not proven beyond a shadow of a doubt last season that if the Kings surround Fox with these station to station 3pt shooting specialists that its too predictable, and defenses will get in the face of the shooters and deter them from getting solid % looks?

Someone like Haliburton didnt have a problem shooting 3's here because he was a threat to drive and pass. Buddy as his time went on in Sacramento had more and more of an issue with this shooting 43% from the field in 19-20 then 40% from the field in the next 2 seasons til hes traded.
