Confirmed that Nigel Hayes was waived by the Kings in order to make room for the LaVine offer. Non-guaranteed contract. He is still with Sacramento at Las Vegas Summer League.

Waiver of Nigel Hayes in Sacramento was done to clear out cap space to sign Zach LaVine to the $78M offer sheet. Sacramento can sign Hayes once he clears waivers and the $19.5M in room is restored after Chicago officially matches.

Torrey Craig is signing a two-year, $4M contract with the Denver Nuggets, per @Shams Charania. That’s more than $3.3M over two years for which his Non-Bird rights would allow. It therefore must come from a portion of the MLE or BAE (which can only be used once every two years).
