And barely one at that. Got it mostly for making a little throwing motion with his hands. Hardly the squashage to send a message with, and that and his next play fouled him right onto the bench. Not exactly a Bad Boysesque moment for us.
In fact the best thing KT did was come back and knock down some jumpers in the 4th. Not the most vicious response of all time, but showed again that he's not a guy who's going to get intimidated. Tenacious if nothing else. But on the other hand I also doubt Dirk lost any sleep over him last night either.
Personally I am all for interior intimidation. My own personal style of play can often channel Oakley/Rodman with an infusion of Ron Artest. Beat the hell out of them and send 'em home to mommy. But I'm not going to stand on top of our particular dungheap and crow about our interior toughness on a night when we got creamed inside again and took a bigger blow than we dished out. Just glad, as I always am, that we did not back down. The Mavs are hardly the sort of squad that intimidates, and we, and KT in particular, came back strong at them in the 4th.
