Wilson Chandler Is James Johnson's body with shooting and higher IQ who is going to earn roughly just below 6 million (5.9mil). Now the Nuggets are pretty stacked at the SF/SG position and Chandler is coming back from injury and looking like the odd man out. Brewer has been playing out of his mind by Brewer standerds, Jordan Hamilton when given the chance has been great, Iggy and Gallo are all there and Iggy in most 4th quarters plays SF with Miller moving to SG. Which doesn't leave a lot of time for Wilson and hes to good imo not be getting plenty of mins they are also looking to develop Fournier and Quincy Miller.
The positives in getting him
The negitives in getting
The problem in the trade is I don't know if there anything we have other than our main two guys the Nuggets would want.
What would you guys think about trying to get Wilson?
The positives in getting him
- Hes 25 years old which means hes most likely going to enter his prime soon
- He fills every need we have at the SF spot he defends, decent ball handling, good size, experineced, solid attitude more of a spot up shooter than requiring the ball.
- Excellent finisher around the rim and is known to put people on posters, a exciting explosive player to watch
- Seems like a fairly solid guy as far as a person, I watched him play for DePaul and New York, never really loses his temper and has that nothing bothers me type attitude when on the floor.
- Would solidfy the SF for a number of years barring injury
The negitives in getting
- He has shown to be a little injury prone and is currently atm injured
- Can be inconsistant but still a very solid SF overall imo when given extended mins
- We would probably have to maybe trade him for like a Thornton, even thought I like Thornton I think Chandler would be a better player for us.
