Who the Kings should pick-up in free agency

Again I would think if we got Korver , you would not add Twill also, then you play the two best SF's, probably Korver and salmons
Then Outlaw,Garcia,Honeycutt would be on the bench

If we were willing to sign TWill without moving any existing SF (still may be our last move) why not add Korver instead of TWill?

I you want to get into Korver vrs T. Will, its probably youth and athleticism vrs outstanding outside shooting. My preference would be both. Start T. Will and back him up with Korver. Or aquire Wright from the Warriors, start him and back him up with either T. Will or Korver. Of course either of those scenarios would require ridding ourselves of some dead weight, and thats easier said than done. I'm sure there are some teams out there that would love to have Salmons, but not at 8.5 mil a year. We all seem to be writing off Outlaw, and maybe thats a mistake. It might be a good idea to see what he brings to the table, healthy, and with a full training camp. I'm not endorsing him as our starting SF, I'm just saying!

Anyway, back to Korver. He's a very smart player thats shot over 40% for his career from the 3pt line. He's basicly been a bench player averaging around 22 minutes a game for his career. But if I have to choose long term, and its either/or, then I'm taking Williams on potential alone. And he's not a bad player right now. I have no doubt that he would be a better defender than Korver, who isn't bad on defense.

Because both guys bring something totally unique, and each in their own way would be the two most effective SF optins we have? Cisco is cheerleading now. Honeycutt has proven nothing. Salmons failed miserably. Outlaw was done years ago.

TWill/Korver can do some things.

However the sad fact is given our roster clutter and brokenss there is a healthy chance you might be right about whaat would happen, if not the desirableness of it. Korver could really help with his shooting. But TWill showed flashes of talent potentially more special than anybody but Cousins and Reke. If he's ready mentally now, he might be the sort of guy with whom some team could really hit the jackpot.

Korver is a good player and I'd love to have him. Wouldn't mind seeing him give Jimmer some points either. Tyreke also. He's tremendous running off screens. I just love watching him running at top speed around screens, then stopping on a dime with perfect balance to rise up for the shot. Smart guy. Great worker. Good player.

I agree with the final assessment.

If I had to make a choice between TWill and Korver I'm taking TWill.
Korver brings a known asset with his shooting, but if TWill can continue to show what we saw last year, I like the over-all versatility, defense, and athleticism that TWill brings to the table.

Of course I'd be perfectly fine bringing in both of them, but you'd have to clear out a lot of space if you wanted to give both 20+ minutes a night.

I hope so because TWILL fits perfect with us. Cisco is about to come off the books the jury is still out on Jimmer who also has a team option after this coming season so eventually we will need another guard it might as well be TWILL especially if the price is right.

Thoughts on Gerald Green? I know his sample size from this year is too small to really use, but he is still young (26) and may have finally matured enough to handle being a NBA player. Would probably come pretty economically (like say, 3 years @ 7 mil. with the third year a team option.) He may be a bit thin for the "3", but he is listed at 6'8", 200 lbs. Stats below:
