Mike, Ron and Bonzi.
Agreed, but if Bonzi wants too much $$$ (or if we choose to go with Martin for whatever reason), we also need to hang on to SAR and Garcia, especially for the $$$ on SAR (unless we can trade up) and because I think with more seasoning Garcia can be a good player.

Miller I am beginning to lose hope in, unfortunately.

All of this hinges on Rick returning, of course. Otherwise, all bets are off.

Mike, Ron, and Bonzi. The only starters that we can guarantee are going to play hard every game. Mike and Ron consistently play through their minor injuries. Bonzi came back with a vengeance after his freak groin injury. I'm excited to see what other players we can fit around these 3.

I voted Artest, Bonzi, Bibby...but I would take Artest, Bonzi, Martin...and take whatever you can get if a deal comes up for one of the others.

I would scream my head off if they let another promising future star slip through their hands again in Martin.

Not necessarily, I just don't want to lose him.
Aren't rookie contracts 5 years long. At the very least we have him for 2 more years. I can't see the Maloofs letting the second coming of Rip Hamilton go.

and it is......................
There are 4 players listed. The vast majority are leaving that player out...a player that only 6 months ago they would have included. Im sure you know who it is. ;)

Different 3-man combinations of Brad/Bonzi/Artest/Bibby is what he meant.

Nobody, given Brad's recent performances and Bonzi's recent performances is going to want him back, other than Miller fans (as opposed to Kings fans).

Of course, if Bonzi doesn't score tomorrow and Brad goes off for 25/10/5, that will all change.

I think I hear Paula Abdul in the background...

Rather have 4 core guys: Bibby, Wells, Ron, and Brad.

Brad could still be great for us if we get him a shotblocker to cover for his weaknesses. I still believe in you Brad!

The only reason the ARTEST, WELLS, BIBBY will kill any of your other options is because of MILLER

Get him off of our team! I'd rather have Peja's weak defense back in place of Miller at this point because atleast Peja doesn't play soft on offense. Miller knows he has a shot from 10-20 feet out all day yet for whatever reason gives up on himself over and over again and I'm tired of it.

Do you guys/gals think that Bonzi spectacular series is prompted by the fact that he's playing for a contract ? I still say Kings best cores are Bibby, Artest, dan Martin -yes, he's a very talented and promising young player for my taste, with good personality and attitude, your team future player. :)

A) no. Guys might push harder in the regular season, but the playoffs -- that's just hunger. If anything, you'd be just as likely to be tentative trying to avoid an injury which would lower your $$ value if that was really the focus. Bonzi's part of somethign special for the first tim in his career, an entire arena just got done chanting his name. He's flying right now, and $$$ don't have anything to do with it.

B) Kevin's a good young player, but will he EVER be able to put together a series like this one against an opponent like this one? And would you bet your title hopes on it?

He's 11pts 5rebs this series on 40% shooting. That's not bad, but core guy on a title team? Maybe wiht more seasoning...but maybe not. We might do it. But if Kevin doesn't pan out as an impact guy, and we let the guy outscoring Kobe in the playoffs walk...well, no title for us for many years.

I'm sure the $$$$ he's going to be making next season is on his mind, but I'd like to think that Bonzi is playing hard JUST CUZ HE WANTS TO WIN and ADVANCE TO THE NEXT ROUND.
