The usual networks that air the games are airing major NFL and NHL events that night. Is YTTV and platforms like that the only option?
I unfortunately can't see it anyway because of previous plans. It's killing me to miss it.

My guess, based on what I saw when I checked the TV guide (Dish Network) is that it will be aired on ESPN on Friday. Right now, the guide shows that ESPN is televising two games that night, while ESPN News (surprisingly) is televising one game. My best guess is that the Kings-Warriors will occupy one of the timeslots on either channel.
It's all TBD because they don't know yet which games are going to be televised. What they do know is that they will be televising games on those networks if needed.
I am very familiar with channel guides and how they work. And I can tell you that they're not just going to switch networks for the sake of switching networks. NBA will be televised on ESPN and/or ESPN News (depending on how many games are to be played), and NHL will be televised on TBS and/or TNT (depending on how many games are to be played). They're not going to just randomly switch networks last minute because there are no hockey games to be played on that night, or there are no basketball games to be played on that night - it doesn't work like that.
For the sake of not allowing this to boil into what it shouldn't be, I have stated my case, and you have stated yours. Let's just do the right thing, and wait to see what happens. If you're right, you're right, and I'll admit my fault...
