Hey Cruz--as someone who saw the young guys play in the VSL, what can you tell us about the two new big guys coming to training camp that can give us fans some hope of frontline help. Do you think, that they will be able to come in and make an impact, do they need a lot more development, do you see them getting playing time etc...?
Amundson was by far the Killer in VSL. He is very agressive around the basket, has long arms for a white kid and won every jump ball tip in both games. He is 6-8 maybe a tad more and Bonzi like in offensive rebs. But he has no shot at all beyond 6 ft excep to go to the basket. No jumper at all. But underneath had real talent in that level of competition.

Williams showed real flashes of how good he can be in that level but was not consistent. Very long arms for a 6-9, I think a 7 ft wingspan, but was not sure of himself until the 3rd VSL game then came out better in 4th game. He is slight, only 225 I think whereas Amundson, shorter weighs 10-15 lb more. Can block shots but so can Amundson. Has a jumper out to 15-18 ft but most of his came is in close as well. He is a year away. Amundson can be 10th-12th man.
