I don't get it... is it wrong to be realistic? i understand everyone in the fan base wants every one of us to think about Championship...WCF Champs...etc but why show you're true color because Brick is just trying to be realistic? Brick is one of the smartest if NOT the smartest poster in KF. and when he knows we're good he will say it when he knows we won't be good and our off-season was mediocre then HE will say it.

No, i just think people are making a big deal about what he thinks, he gets unfair critism just because he thinks realistic and has a different view from others.

What makes you think i was sounding like he was God? he has better reasons why we will be a average team then optimistic giving reasons why we will be a very good team..... losing Bonzi is gonna hurt us more then its gonna hurt Bonzi.... we just haven't had a good off-season and i was hopeful we would've had 1. the realistic fans have better reasons then the optimistic/positive fans.

that is pretty deifying, right up to the capitalizing of HE. bricklayer is a great contributor to this site, but you really do make him sound like the end-all-be-all of kings knowledge.

Just to piggy back on your thought here: having an opinion does not make you a "realist." A realistic viewpoint of this upcoming season is that it is upcoming. And that is just about as "real" as anyone can be at this time. Everything else is purely conjecture.

Now that is a great summary of what others and I have been pointing out. Nice post thatguy. But be aware if we optimist say anything with backbone we get warned and or our thread call "A bunch of hooey"

Another thread in Kingsrap is entitled what do you look foward to. I poster some things and I would like to add to that. I want to do it here as not to hijack that thread with this one. But what i look foward to is seeing some of the pecimist choke on their words. As i have taken in some quotes of some of them when talking about Salmons, kevin and others so when the famous Grades come up I can rub it in the faces. I mean every game Salmons scores over 10 or has a big impact. Every time we beat the oposing team in rebounds everytime we beat one of the so called favorites to win the championship. It will be flaunted throughout. I encourage the rest of the optimistc fans out there to do the same as its our right to raise up our team as they should be.

Re: the grades thread...I've never regarded those as anything but a thread to initiate good discussion. Do you really think Brick puts those out there for us to take as fact? I for one appreciate the hard work that goes into those...it always leads to great conversation and opportunities for each of us to offer up our own assessments of the team.
