What’s wrong with fox?Wonder if he starts in place of Fox tomorrow.
I was dubious about how Devin could contribute at this point in the season, but had been looking at it from a scoring perspective. I hadn't considered that he could find his way to contribute by rebounding and defending. Those are definitely areas of need that provide opportunities.
Carter was likely quite nervous in his first NBA game. Pressure on one's self is still pressure when shooting. But defensive hustle is possible through nervousness, as we saw...although it might cause a foul or two. He will get over it.
Taking coaching pressure off of Keegan and Huerter to make every shot was my hope when Coach Christie took over. It may be too soon to take hold, but after a couple of games off, Keegan may emerge reborn. Let's hope.
Watched a video on the Grizzlies new found offense. They went from 30th in the league last year in PPG to 1st this year. The Grizzlies took a college offense and implemented it in the NBA. Their offense is pretty insane now, while still having their good defense.

They should start Carter in the next game. His presence and impact on the court is too much to ignore. I want to see him in full minutes.
If he and Keon are playing together I'm down! Haha. I doubt Doug would do that. Looks like they had some kind of practice or got in work today but just getting remotely familiar between he and his teammates is probably going to be a start and stop thing for a few weeks.
He's got more hair on his legs than the front of his head. At least if he goes the LeBron route he can wear one pant leg and nobody will know.He literally has the worst hair in the league. He makes Tre Young look like he’s Don Draper.
His offense is still disjointed, but you see where he CAN be very easily and what his upside case is. Not afraid at all to pull or go look for offense *ahem Keegan ahem* and he gets downhill with ease. I think the one aspect of his offensive game that has looked really good has been his ability to get downhill and find the shooter. Had a possession at the end of the game where he just straight blew by Gui Santos and left him 3 steps behind in a blur. Another really good possession where he blew by a defender for a good floater from the foul line. There's absolutely offensive tools here for him to develop.
Defensively, he's as advertised. Feel confident saying that after just watching 4 of his pro games. Incredible PoA defender that gets active with hands, can stay in front, gets contests at the rim. Has to learn what's a foul and what isn't going to get called at this level, but already saw some improvement tonight vs game 1. Really good feel on how to play passing lanes. It's mind-boggling that a rookie that's missed as much time as he has looks as good as he does on defense, especially getting the Steph Curry assignment his second game.
He's also as natural a rebounder as a guard I've seen in a long time. Like Russ Westbrook-esq. Just uses his incredible wingspan and vert to get the ball at the apex and just always seems to be "in the right spot" to pull it down.
Overall, very pleased with his first action as a pro the last 4 games (2 pro, 2 G-League). Nothing so far has made me say "Ooo, he might need a few more weeks at the G-League to get ready". He's a 15-20 MPG guy right now.

So if you like Carter and are going to draft best player available who are you going to trade. Carter got minutes last night backing up Monk and if Fox is playing those minutes are not available.
If you are going to take Monte and your approach you have to have the balls to trade someone. So who is it?
TyreseIs there anyone in the league that lofts their shots up as high as Carter?
