What I see Evans needing work on is being able to tell when the play is there or not. He's forced some lobs to Jason and gotten inside without a place to go. He does look like someone who could just blow through the majority of these scrubs and put up stats. But getting the most benefit out of that will mean less stats but more wins.

I know its summer league, so please dont start the ' Its only summer league it is meaningless blah blah blah ' but JT hasnt looked good .. Its not just on offense either, it looks like he isnt trying very hard which is odd for him.

He can guard 4's, he's more of a position defender. He WILL NOT block shots though. The best he'll do is stand there with his arms up, but he'll defend the post like no tomorrow.

And that's one of the reasons for summer league. Put the new kids on the court, get a chance to see where they need improvement and work on those things until the start of the season.

Ooh Casspi should have finished that. I like what I see of Omri, but I had really low expectations.

At this point, I can see Evans dominate these d-leaguers. He's no bust. I'm interested in seeing him try to run a team against NBA defense.

Whats interesting is that Evans is doing most of his dribble drives with the opposing teams SG on him because we are pairing him up with the smaller guard McNeal .. I'd like to see us put a little more size in the lineup and let Evans go to work against the opposing teams point .. on offense and defense.
