You just can't trust the media/reviewers when they have GTA:IV as number two.

That game is so horribly overrated and overhyped it makes me wanna throw my copy through the computer screen to prove a point of some sort.

That and Zelda has never appealed to me...The games just never reeled me in like some others for some reason I can't explain.

Yeah agree with you on that definitely (but that list was pretty solid up until the past few years when everyone went HD graphic crazy). I hate how they have repeats on that list too.

Frankly I never understood the appeal of Tetris, but I am going to judge this the same way I put together my own list -- with the island premise squarely in mind. I might prefer Zelda tommorow, the next day, maybe even next year. But the simple infinite replayability of Tetris I think trumps it for long term gonna be stuck here for 40 years replayability.

Frankly if venom had chosen Age of Empires as his choice that would have been no contest in his favor -- infinitely replayable (random maps) and actually fun too.

I didn't want to spoil the voting since this is supposed to be title vs. title but not everyone plays by the rules, but it looks like its a runaway.

Obviously a monster like Tetris, virtually everyone has played it, and more than anything familiarity is king in the contests. If you've never played the Zelda game, Tetris wins by default. Venom had the one title that is arguably bigger than Tetris - Pac Man. Also, like Tetris, you can play Pac Man forever chasing a new high score. If you're stuck on an island with nothing else to do you may even figure out how to get past the kill screen.

Ms. Pac Man is the better game for sure, but I had some fantastic patterns in the original that never got old.

Wow, the #1 game on virtually all all-time best game lists gets blown out. It makes sense if nobody has played it though. Anyway, congrats to NoBonus on the upset.

Clearly the sort of people who vote in those polls are different from the sort of people who voted in this poll; frankly, I can't even imagine why a casual gamer would prefer OoT over Tetris.
