If we could get Dennis Rodman and stick him in the way-back machine... I'd be as happy as a little girl.

This discussion has grown tiresome. Now is the time on Sprockets when we dance!

;)

Thanks, GGG...there really aren't enough Dieter references on this board.

Yeah, but he got arrested for animal cruelty up in Portland and appeared to have attitude problems. They dumped him a year ago and no one has touched him since. Not for Kings.

what a scumbag, im good on him... as of the others on this list, i'd say Van Exel is the only guy i think the Kings should pick up, he would be a great addition to our bench, it would just been weird seeing im in a Kings jersey.

I think he got arrested on the suspicion of dog fighting...Im not 100% sure, but I believe the case got dropped...

He was grabbed by the Knicks at a point last year, and played well when Larry Brown decided he would play, averaging 6pts and 4rebs, on 50% shooting.

When he played any amount of time, he seemed to do really well, but Larry would play him, then sit him, then play him for 10 minutes, then sit him, then play him for 20 minutes for a week straight, then sit him...

Theres his game log.

Being 7'3, or whatever Jin is, you kind of have to block a shot and alter some more by default just by standing there.

So he'd be an upgrade at center at this point.

Issue with Jin is he is SLOW!!! makes our Brad seem like a ballet dancer. :p

Well he brings the hieght, that we need badly.. he's so young his quickness can be improved.

It would take some time to up his quickness. But if he just stood there and held his arms up he would be an upgrade. And he can shoot the free throw. Sadly, I don't think he can jump.

I would go after NVE if anyone. I really like Ronnie's progress but Nick can shoot and run the point. But is he in good enough shape to play under Muss?

Yeah, NVE can shoot, but whose minutes would he take and why at this point?

We have a bevy of 2's and 3's what we need is a reliable and consistent banger-defender who doesn't miss layups and put backs.

NVE wouldn't play for us. He signed a 1 year contract with the Spurs last year to chase a ring, and hinted that it might be his last. He didn't get his ring, and the Spurs didn't resign him. Miami showed some interest in him but nothing came about it.

The only team Nick Van Exel is playing for this season is the Elmer's Glue Factory intramural squad.

Re: Van Exel

^^ He was pretty awful last year. He's a horriblle defender who can't shoot anymore. If Bibby and Hart or Price went down then you could bring him in for an emergency guy, but otherwise he can stay where he is.

Taft is a guy I wouldn't mind bringing in although I think he is injured.

Moïso ?

Hi everyone !

What do you think about Jérôme Moïso ?
http://www.nba.com/playerfile/jerome_moiso/index.html

He's available because he just has been released by Roma (Italy).

He never proved anything in 5 NBA seasons and he has a strange personality but he got size, athletism, can rebound and block shots.

With Brad out, do you thing he can be useful ?

I dunno. If he could only score 13 pts against us for his career high he
must not be very good. :p

Season Highs / Career Highs - Points - 13 vs. Sacramento 02/05/03

If he's getting released from a team in Europe, I doubt he has much of a shot in the NBA

Honestly, you guys are better off waiting a little while and seeing who leads the D-League in rebounding and have a look at them. In houston, we picked up Chuck Hayes like that and he's a starter for us now.

I know he isn't a free agent, but what do you guys think about David Harrison of the Pacers. He is a big 7 footer, still young and a bit raw though. I figure that the Pacers already have JO playin C for them and they have Foster. Though JO is an injury concern they might want to keep 3 centers on the roster, but we could offer someone like Potepenko and his expiring contract. Any thoughts??

I think we should take a serious look at Luke Schenscher (C) from last year.. He ended up playing w/ the Bulls last year but was recently released- I'm sure from playing w/ Scott Skiles, he learned a few things as well...

Schenscher still looking for work

I liked Luke when I saw him play in the Vegas Summer League a year ago. But in 20 games for the Bulls he was a 30% FT shooter!! Like Amundson only worse. He is 7-1 and 265 and can rebound a bit but he is 1-2 years away from contributing off the bench for an NBA team.

Other "Bigs" that came to mind passing thru Kings summer camps last couple of years:

Adam Prada, a 7-1/265 guy from UC-Irvine
Justin Williams, a 6-11 bean stalk from this summer and pre-season

Diop isn't getting much in Dallas these day i wonder if we could intice Cuban with anything. especially since they aren't winning.

The warriors are trying to buy out Foyle, maybe we can get him cheap as the backup C

i saw that too on hoopshype, i think it would be a very good pick up, if the kings can get foyle for the vet min., since he would be paid by the warriors... and musselman has a good history with foyle in golden state... he was his coach during his contract year, that netted foyle 6 yr $51 mil that off season... i'm sure mussleman can lure him to sacto to ressurect his career if gsw buy him out...
