Trying out forwards - means Artest leaving?

Well, it's a little bit over-thinking, but I found something interesting after watching our try out schedules.

1. Except multi-team try out, Kings invited only SF, PF and C.
2. That means we don't try PGs yet.
3. I've read posts in this forum, which tell Kings want to trade Bibby or Artest in this offseason.
4. So, 2+3= Artest leaving and looking for another SF?

By the way, I want to Kings to try PGs, someone as Conley or Law.

Not necessarily -- its just that many of the best prospects expected to be left at the #10 pick are SFs (bigs always go earlier, especially this year). Bringing in PF/Cs is pretty obvious of course.

it just means that we dont NEED a PG. we need bigs so they're trying some out. our front court is undersized, unathletic, and just completely useless. But, Bibby is still an excellent player in the right system with a good coach

Maybe another way to look at it is: if someone's going to be traded before the draft, it's Artest. Bibby could be on his way out, but nobody's going to touch him until his ETO has been dealt with, so going for a PG at #10 would be gambling with a big unknown.

But if Artest hasn't been dealt by draft day, I'd say that the odds of our getting a PF or C will go up quite a bit.
