Well, I suppose there are a few left out there (kind of all over the board, musically) that I could consider, but most of the O, Canada that I'd be after is already out of play. maybe after the draft you'll have to point me at the bands you think I ought to like - maybe we just haven't been introduced yet!

View attachment 3908ok, so you all get to voice opinion on this pick. if you're all good, then it's good.
I'm trying to take Andrew Lloyd Webber.
I know he's composed some wonderful music, just not sure he's performed enough of it in public. I know he does actually perform his work.

so, I'm going to bed now, I'll see your verdict in the morning.
this was a serious question on her part btw folks.
I'm not sure what makes ALW different from previous legal composers like Beethoven and Elfman and Zimmer. I could make a more impassioned argument, but for time's sake I'm just going to say "thumbs up".
Alot of different ways to go in the final 4 picks, but one thing I know for sure is that I want to add more reggae on my island. That being said, while they're probably safe until round 2,479 - I have to draft these guys:

Oh my.
webbfan has been nothing if not consistent in this draft. Every smooth vocalist, of whatever genre, from the 70s in particular has taken up residence on her island.
I really like this pick; forgot about these guys!Time for a band with a silly name: Toad the Wet Sprocket

The name “Toad the Wet Sprocket”, of course, was taken from a Monty Python sketch. Toad is one of the few bands I can honestly say I have deliberately labeled as my favorite band of all time, and although that was probably 15 years ago, I obviously never left them; they just got passed up by others. Well, with the extra picks in the draft I’ve got room to fit them in, even if they have more sentimental value to me than power in the draft.
I only listened to her last record but it's great, one of the very best of the year. I'm going to see her live in late November.
