My own favorite Stones song. Seems to sometimes get overlooked in their canon. Have no idea why. Great great song and forever associated with that era and that damn war. Think I first picked up on it after it was used to close out the devastation at the end of Full Metal Jacket.

Yeah, I am pretty sure I commented on El Scorcho extensively when I picked Pinkerton, there is so much I love about it lyrically, from the opening line to the old school ECW reference back from the days when ECW was in like 4 cities.Yeah, I love it too. For me, the music is great and all, and I enjoy that, but its the pure, meaningful lyrics that show you how good Rivers can be that get me.
