Not to be a rumor spreader (which means I will be doing exactly that in the next sentence) Paul George ALLEGEDLY (seriously, sketchiest of sources) had a ... relationship... with Hibberts wife, so yea, there are issues.

It actually leaves me less worried about him. You don't just lose the talent over the course of a few months. I think it's entirely possibly those two players cannot play with each other anymore, in which case I would give Indy a call.

I hope Roy can rebound from this.

Cuz and Hibbert would not work. With the way the PF position has evolved, it's simply a necessity for your PF to be able to defend out to the perimeter. Lee, Aldridge, Davis, Dirk, Ryan Anderson, Ibaka, Blake, Bosh. Very few PF's like to mix it up in the paint offensively

By getting Hibbert, you're forcing Cuz away from the hoop and having to defend PFs. Not only does that hurt him greatly on the defensive end, but you're also neturalizing one of his best assets by taking him away from the defensive glass.

Is this the first time this has been brought up in this thread? I heard this weeks ago, but thought it was common knowledge

PG denied it on twitter.

Well then that settles that, right? Let me know when Hibbert denies it.

But about Hibbert playing with Cousins, it's still more of a personality clash then on the court style clash. When Hibbert gets down, I don't think Cuz is taking him fishing to help him out. Cuz is not going to put up with mentally weak team mates.

Between the first and second game, George took Hibbert out on his boat. Hibbert gave George a lot of credit for his good game and talked about them going out on the boat. Unless I'm getting the characters confused, that is about as good a denial as you should need.

Was the wife along?

Lets get the ménage rumor viral! :p

If you watched Hibbert play the 2nd half of the season and throughout the playoffs, why would you even want him? He disappeared more than Ben McLemore, who at least had the excuse of being a lost rookie. Hoping that Hibbert could not only fit in chemistry wise, but also return to the form he'd shown in past seasons is a big gamble to take and not very likely. The $$ he'd make makes it a risk not at all worth taking.

At this point Larry Sanders might be less of a headcase than Roy

This would be great timing for Pete D, as per his MO...Buy low with possible talent upside. Roy Hibbert was an all star this season, he can definitely help a 28 win Kings team. Would his contract be an albatross to retaining Rudy and Isaiah? I trust Pete to make this decision financially, as the salary cap an luxury tax are both also expected to rise with the new TV deal. As with a prospective Kevin Love deal, who are the kings currently to be above adding basketball talent?

Cannot believe a guy over seven feet tall can be as poor a rebounder as he is. I was stunned by how woeful he was during these playoffs.

(Don't watch Indiana during the regular season so can't speak to that)

Jokes aside I'd take Larry no problem. He's got a few issues but he's another player who plays with fight, I'd stack the team with players like that. As opposed to "athletes" like Derrick Williams who engages himself once a month.
