Thomas Robinson:

No, if Lillard is indeed pure enoguh to run point full time his size obviously is not an issue. In fact for a PG he's got good size. Coming into the draft workouts though he was just another Jimmer or Ronnie Price. Just another small school gunning tweener guard with SG instincts in a PG body.

Some had him as a Rose type player which he is turning out to be.

We'll see. I know people haven't noticed the plummeting shooting percentages yet, but it could also turn the way of a Brandon Jennings. Rose is a to the basket player. Jennings loves to chuck, and so does Lillard. Still, obviously those guys are PGs and it seems clear Lillard has sailed over that threshold as well. Tweeners often fail. But Lillard looks like he has a position.

He even dresses the same on the court. I think he's taken that comparison to heart.

In two months Lillard's already shot more threes than Rose did in his first two years in the league. They are both 6'3", I'll grant that. ;)
