*Today’s rant* Why is it that one must return romantic/crush feelings just because the person expressing it is a ‘really nice person’? Someone can be a nice, decent, wonderful person, but that doesn’t automatically mean that you’re romantically interested in them. I wish that people would understand that and not try to shove that incorrect dating philosophy down my throat!

is anyone else on this board the black sheep of their families? Sometimes I hate it, sometimes I dont care or embrace it. Right now, I dont really care. I suppose I fit the mad wolf/free spirit role perfectly anyways.

There's a small herd of black sheep in my family, and I'm definitely one of them.

Always have been, though, so I'm used to it. There's a whole section of my family that I've never even met, and don't really care to.

yeah, I am in a large family and a similar situation. You learn to adapt after awhile I guess.
 
Yeah, same here ... growin' up .... I was a BAAAAAAD BOY (remember, I'm a sheep) ....but, with age (if you survive & grow up), the past BECOMES A MEMORY (truthfull and laughable at that) and so does your status as a sheep, you can say I'm sorta PALE GRAY :D
 
Getting antsy - I ordered a new sofa & loveseat a month ago, and should be getting a call today or tomorrow to set up a delivery date. I can't wait - I'm very tired of my early-american garage-sale living room.
 
Kings in town tomorrow night, they won last night:D, it's 70 here this week and I found gas for less than $2 a gallon, good week!:)
 
all the products that my husband used to be able to eat, now have MILK in them, making his life difficult. First it was the cake mixes, then the popcorn, next the ice cream became difficult to find. Those he can live without. BUT NOW it's the BREAD!!! UGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My sister breaks out in hives if she eats anything with milk in it. You can find milk-free versions of just about anything, but it takes some searching.

And, they're not exactly the most scrumptious things in the world.

I used to get hives .... I stopped doin' ALOT of stuff ... now the hives are gone ... for me, it wasn't about allergies ... I guarantee you that.

Wow, sorry to hear that! That must be really rough being that most items do have dairy in them. I take it he's severly lactose intolerant to not even be able to handle milk being cooked into food items such as bread.
 
RD- yep. and it's not like we hadn't ALREADY searched through everything. It's the ones we found that changed how they're made, which really just kind of ticks you off.

3G- I know we can probably find more it's just now we have to go through the whole d*** bleep bleep process AGAIN. UGGHHH!!!

I just had a root canal about a month ago. I have had another tooth that has caused me pain the entire weekend. I may be getting another root canal tomorrow morning. Blech!! But, I'll deal with it if it will make my mouth, face, and head stop hurting. What a sucky weekend.:mad:
 
I realize that it's going for a certain sense of humor, but the new Burger King commercial in which the Whopper Jr. asks his "father" if he's going to spank his buns is... well, more than a little disturbing.

Had another root canal this morning. It's gonna hurt when the numbness wears off.

Why is that a large pharmacy cannot fill a pain med prescription while the person is standing in front of them, and have someone else fill the overnight call-ins for refills? I have to wait 1 1/2 hours for my meds. By that time the numbness will have worn off and I will be in pain again...needlessly. Blech!!!!! :mad:
