I punctured the tip of my index finger with a staple this afternoon and, for such a little tiny owie, it hurts so bad I want to cry.

I'm seriously considering removing my leg with a hacksaw as the pain from that would be a soothing relief compared to this damned staple injury.

WOW, GGG .... how are you with paper-cuts ???? ;)

I get most of my SELF-INFLICTED injuries doing yard-work :D

.... and I hate every single phreakin' one of 'em

I'm impervious to paper-cuts. I manage to get a few of those every day and I barely even notice them anymore.

Unless, of course, its one of those special occasions in which the paper cut comes from a manila file folder. Those hurt.

Isaac Hayes quit South Park just because they made fun of scientologist, and I just watched an episode where Jesus, Ala, Buddah, Moses, and Seaman made their own version of the Justice League.

Im in the same boat as you, VF...Never have, never wanted to, never will.quote]

hey, to each his own I suppose. this is one of the best tv dramas ever to air and deserves the praise it receives and then some. such exceptional acting and writing, it really is one of a kind. I am a fan! last nights episode was great btw!

I have my TV drama show that I watch religoiusly.

And that is FX's The Shield...Now THAT is an impressive show with great acting.

Micheal Chiklis is amazing.

And in response to someone earlier, I've never seen the LOTR series either...Fantasy movies are so pointless.

I don't watch 24, Lost, Sopranos or any relatively new show. By the time I get done with sports and my soaps, there's very little time left. My friend was over last night and had on American Idol. That didn't last long! I don't see what everyone raves about. I was falling asleep. He was saying I can't believe you don't watch this, I was thinking the opposite.

I now have to wait 4 months before getting any new SG1 or SGA episodes. I hate season finales that leave the 2nd part until next season. Yet, I will be anxiously awaiting for it.

Has anyone seen Black. White. yet? I sat and watched it last week...pretty good show.
I watched so many previews and specials about the show, that I feel like I've seen the entire thing already.

I watched the first episode. To me the white guy still looks like a white guy (with make-up) and the black guy looks like Eddie Murphy in an old skit from Saturday Night Live. I was pretty disappointed...I was especially disappointed by the attitude of the white guy. I don't think I'll be watching it again, simply because I think they took what could have been a pretty good scenario and are just interested in making it "real" with contrived situations.

The Blue Angels are in town and they are flying over, shaking my windows. I'll try to get a picture.

edit: they are flying so low and quick that all I can get are their smoke trails with my crappy back up camera.

Wow-I'm totally jealous!! Wish I could see that.

Mad D- you live in Rancho?

The pics I got with my silly little camera phone are in the other forum. They do fly really fast. I'll see if I can get better ones on Saturday. They fly directly over my house.

Nuisance diseases--as I have come to call them--the type of illnesses that aren’t fatal nor do they really deteriorate one’s quality of life except for very few extreme cases, suck. Especially when the medicine prescribed to treat them have worse side effects than the sometimes undetected disease itself.

It was like that for me every year during "Fleet Week" when I was living in San Francisco. Living downtown, the noise reverberated throughout the streets.

Grrrr... Dont you hate cliffhangers?

Whatshine?

It quit snowing about an hour ago. It's now so "foggy" I can't see the big oak tree about 15 feet from my house. The long-time locals tell me it's not "fog," it's really clouds close to the ground. Yeah, like it makes a difference what you call it. You still can't see a blasted thing...

I love living in the forest. I would really like to see the bright object that appears in the sky if we're all really, really good and deserving.

SO MANY beautiful people in Austin Texas last night for SXSW. had a blast last night checking out some hip hop and rock shows and hittin 6th street. Blasted work prevented me from staying out too late, but had lots of fun. plan on enjoying some more music this weekend.

Hey, HBO and Cinemax are FREE for me this weekend!

Do people like my new avatar, or is it too small? :D

It looks like a great avatar but it's a little too small for me. Of course, I'm old and have bad eyesight.
