^ Try working nights, that's even worse! In fact it's just about my bedtime.
I worked graveyard for 2+ years and never realized that I was exhausted all the time until I got another job. I work swing now..at least I don't have to get up early and now you now why I'm on here til 2 am.

You know that horrible feeling that starts to creep over you when you realize that maybe this time you've procrastinated just a bit too long and you've got entirely too much work to do in a frighteningly short period of time?

Sucks, don't it?

Get up whenever you want to. Go out and enjoy the day when you want to. Don't have to worry about rush-hour traffic (quite a big issue heading into Hollywood from the valley and vice versa), or any heavy traffic usually. Go to Costco when the lines are short. Take your car in for service without missing work. Don't have to deal with the suits and bigwigs at work.

I was recently offerend the chance to return to a day shift. I politely said "No thank you." My sports viewing, concertgoing, and general fun factor have taken a dramatic drop. But if there's an event I really want to go to, I can just use up a vacation day. I'll take a day job in the future, but only if it gets me out of L.A.

I've had better weekends. Between the whack-job down the court threatening the neighbor's grandkids & my husband, the Thunderbirds booming over my house all weekend, and the gunfire outside last night, I'm a wreck.

Calgon, take me away!

And we learned today that our son-in-law is going to be deployed to Iraq in December. He's just gotten home from a 1-year remote in Korea, and has only spent 2 months with his son born while while he was away. Alex is going to spend another year without Daddy.

There are 118 people on the board right now, a thursday afternoon, with no game tonight, and still the preseason. I had to check just to make sure something drastic didn't happen to the team. I guess there are lots of bored people this afternoon.

I just met Jason Hart at the dry cleaners(was getting a couple of suits cleaned for the new dress code:D ) He is a nice guy and i got his autograph. BTW he was driving a Black 2005 Infiniti QX56 w/ black rims and black rear taillamps. Also i see Mike Bibby almost everyday drivin' around in his Merc but I never get to stop him and get his autograph.

This past month at Sac State we had visits from Blackalicious, Pauly Shore, The Jamie Kennedy experiment, and Max Weinberg from Connan O'brien.
A professor told me that Pauly Shore was very upset that Jamie Kennedy did a show a couple weeks before his. He was constantly asking someone (the promotor?) if he was funnier than Jamie, it got so bad it was to the point where he needed to be pat on the head while being assured he was funnier.
