No kidding. Not to mention even good insurance can be not enough. Without going into gory details, 25 years ago I had to have $10,000 of dental work done as a follow up to jaw surgery. Needless to asy, no insurance was fgoing to pay anywhere near that. Had to take out a second on my house. My mouth should be insured by Lloyd's of London.Amen to that. I've got a root canal scheduled for mid-March that I'm paying for out of pocket and am trying desperately to line up insurance to help with the cost of the crown. In matters such as this, being unemployed is teh suck.

Mad D: I had my first root canal a while back. There was immediate relief from the pain I was having, so I'd have to say it was wonderful! No pain during the procedure. Good luck.
