The best of Caron "Mentor" Butler

Just to clarify, I think he's a good player and another decent signing by Vlade, but I have no expectations for him to become anyone's mentor. Still, for this money you'd be hard pressed to find a better SF.

He sure has been all over the NBA hasn't he? I think his longest tenure with one team might of been with Washington.

Caron comes from very much the same background as Ben. If you doubt his 'mentor' label, I would take a look at the videos already posted in the Caron Butler thread and get to know a little more about him.

Dude was a 2x All Star and has a decade of playoff experience. "Mentor" or no, he's the classic experienced vet signing that knows what it takes in the league, and you can insert in big/shaky moments and know you're going to get smart decisionmaking.
