Well, I know Brickie was really kind to leave me one last shot at Webb #4...but I'm not going to take it.
Let's face it. In the Sacramento Era, the Kings have been to the playoffs ten times. One Kings coach is responsible for eight of those ten appearances - in eight total seasons with the team. Every Kings coach in Sacramento history save one has a losing record. In the Sacramento Era we have had a grand total of one - ONE - decent coach, and he was far more than just decent.

I select Coach Rick Adelman.
Do you see that text behind him? You guys don't get that. You may cry now.
For me the choice is simple. I think Chris Webber has been the best player in the Sacramento era. Demarcus Cousins has the potential to surpass him some day and Mitch Richmond was close as a great player on mostly lousy teams, but for me it has to be Webber. So that's my first selection.
Maybe I planned it that wayP.S. with apologies to the poor sap who took Doug in the first round only now to find out Mitch his star -- take it up with Capt. He screwed you, not me.![]()
Quick question for the group: when I entered this draft, there was a provision for trades, simply that they would be allowed between participants as the draft developed and there were no other stipulations regarding it.
I didn't notice initially, until it was pointed out to me by our draft czar, but that provision was removed for simplicity when we adopted the franchise player rule.
Well, as it were I'd been strategizing as if the trade provision was intact and would really appreciate if that was still the case.
As such, is everyone all right with re-implementing the opportunity for everyone to trade as it had been in the original rules?
