Need help planning work christmas dinner.

Need a really nice restaurant that can accomodate all of the following issues:

about 20 people
person 1:vegetarian/borderline vegan
person 2:lactose intolerant
person 3:fish/seafood allergies

I know most really nice places will work with you on diet issues, but I have no clue which restaurant to start with. For the past few years it's been at Slocum house, want something new and a little more varied.

Any suggestions?

The lactose intolerant person is easy to accomodate. I am the same. I take Lactase or the Costco generic version and I can eat/drink any milk product except cheesecake, for whatever reason, without any discomfort at all.

You can always work around the vegetarian limitation, too.

How far are you willing to travel?

would work if that person could still take the pills, they don't work anymore.

anything within 10-15 miles of citrus heights.

Think Sushi. Any reputable sushi place should have a nice vegetarian/vegan selection. Lactose is not even an issue. And most have chicken terriyaki etc. for the conservatives.

I think clearly Taco Bell. Well except for the lactose intolerant person with all that cheese. But you could just tell them to get over it. :p

Some places to consider other than those mentioned:

Il Fornaio, Ruth's Chris (may be hard for the vegetarian - but I'm not one, so I'm suggesting it :D ), Mikuni, Biba, Paragary, Esquire Grill......

We are getting a Mikuni's in the Village at Northstar, it opens this month. They are supposed to be the best, if you have one near and sushi is an option, check it out.
